We are committed to follow safe construction practices to ensure the safety of workers and our own supervisory staff at site . To ensure this, the following procedures are followed :- • PPE : Personal Protection Equipment such as helmets , safety shoes, safety belts , eye protection gear , gloves etc . • Safe working practices : One or more safety engineer ( Green Helmet ) at site will ensure that safety is practiced at site – especially those working at heights, on scaffoldings , in enclosed spaces etc . • Safety manual : A safety manual is available at sites which lsits the safety policy to be adopted . A graphical pictorial manual is also available to explain the Safety Do’s and Don’ts at site , especially to workmen and their supervisors. Steel scaffolding and shuttering is generally used . With our extensive experience of working with safety conscious organisations such as Bechtel ( Dabhol Power Plant ) , Nocil ( a Shell Associate ) , Croda ( part of former ICI ) etc, there is a safety consciousness among our workers and supervisory staff . This is further ensured with regular Toolbox meetings , safety orientation for newly inducted members of work force and staff and safety posters at site highlighting safe working practices. |
